These biobodies with a size of 35x36mm, low weight and large surface area are ideal for your biofilter in aquaponics. They allow maximum flow and there is hardly any risk of clogging.
Application:
This filter medium is mainly used in fixed bed biofilters and is pumped through from below using an air pump or through water circulation using air lifts. The large surface area of 239m^2 per m^3 and a protected area of 188m^2/m^3 enable particularly good colonization by bacteria and microorganisms.
Scope of delivery:
100l or 200l bio-bodies made of HDPE granules, delivered in a compostable cardboard box made of natural paper.
