This primary rock flour and mineral mix is produced directly in Austria and is an important additive in worm composting and conventional composting . It provides important minerals and trace elements and at the same time binds nutrients, odors and moisture. Thanks to the fine grain size of 10 micrometers, the additive can be easily mixed in and quickly develops its effect.
Application & use in worm composting
When worm composting, you spread a thin layer in your worm composter once or twice a month and mix it into the compost. The mineral mix ensures a neutral pH value and enriches the worm humus as a nutrient store . 3.5 liters is enough for a worm composter for 1-2 years.
Application & use in conventional composting
Sprinkle about 5% vol. over the collected compost material regularly 1-2 times a month and mix well. The primary rock powder binds additional liquid and odors, particularly with wet material such as kitchen waste or green waste. This changes the microbiology in the compost in a positive direction and increases the compost quality enormously.
