You use PVC-U pipes to build the water pipes to transport the water in your aquaponics system. The pipes can be glued and plugged together (can be sealed with Teflon). However, once you have decided how the pipes should run, we recommend that you glue the pipes to the fittings.

The pipes are available in different pipe diameters. There are a variety of fittings and connection options to suit the respective pipe diameter.

Guide to choosing the right pipe diameter:
